Thank you!

I'm very happy to announce that Team Stosberg has triumphed with 82% of the District 3 vote. I am excited to be sworn in as the District 3 Common Council Representative on January 1, 2024 and get to work!
I want to take this moment to thank the people that helped make this victory happen.
First, my family-my husband, Mark, my mom, Kate, and my two kids. I could not have done this without letting certain things go (sometimes abruptly) and they had to either pick up some of that slack or adjust their expectations to realize something just wasn't going to happen. This went more smoothly than I expected.
Next, a whole bunch of people helped me knock doors, donated money to my campaign, gave me advice about running for office, posted signs in their yards, and were an overall positive and encouraging presence during this election journey. I don't think I can possibly name all the names here, but I hope you know who you are.
Finally, to the voters of District 3, thank you for trusting me to do this job well. In my mind part of what you voted for were my specific ideas and perspective, but a bigger part was the work ethic and attitude I take to this position. I am really looking forward to serving my community, which means I need to continue to actively engage and communicate. As I move through the next 8 weeks before being sworn into office I plan to put some of the specific expectations I have for myself regarding this service into writing to use as a guiding document moving forward to make sure that I continue that active engagement.
In closing, though the election may be over, I will be maintaining this list as the start of what I hope to be a regular constituent communication channel. Also, if you have not already done so, please consider following me on Facebook (if you are on that platform), as I will also continue to post information there.
Thank you all for your continued support of my campaign. As always, reach out to questions@stosberg.com with any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful evening!
