ISTA Pack the House

The Indiana State Teacher's Association is encouraging public school advocates to head to the Indiana State House on Thursday, April 13 in protest of several bills that negatively impact Hoosier teachers and students, including HB1001, a budget bill that does not even keep up with inflation and is not an acceptable funding plan for the next two years for public education in Indiana. ISTA encourages attendance and meeting with legislators to discuss this bill. A salute goes out to Monroe County Community Schools who are supporting their teachers by making Thursday an asynchronous e-learning day and providing busses to bring teachers and staff to Indianapolis. See you in Indy! Pack the house!
